Guidelines & Safety Procedures
Dear Friends and Valued Guests,
First and foremost, I would like to personally offer my sincere thanks to each of you for your support and flexibility during the past year. It's been a crazy year with the Covid-19 pandemic and the ever-changing guidelines and requirements from Washington State and the CDC, and we are beyond grateful to have such amazing clients and friends.
We at Coco's Salon take this pandemic very seriously. Our goal is to ensure that we are doing our part to make you feel relaxed, comfortable, and safe, and we have made a few changes to ensure the safety of you and our staff.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -
This will allow us to manage the number of clients in-salon at any given time. If you are purchasing product, please contact us ahead of time to pre-arrange a pick-up time or skip a trip and order from our ONLINE SHOP.
VACCINATED or NOT -
Per the CDC and Gov. Inslee's most recent mandate, effective August 20, 2021, every person is required to wear a face covering, regardless of vaccination status. Additionally, regardless of face-coverings and/or vaccination status, if you are sick PLEASE STAY HOME!
NO GUESTS IN LOBBY - We will be following the 1 to 1 guideline for clients. This means that guests of our clients (i.e. family members, friends, and pets) will have to wait for you elsewhere until social distancing rules are lifted. We thank you for your understanding.
HAND WASHING - Stylists will be washing their hands thoroughly between each client interaction. As always, our clients may access the restroom as they please to wash their hands as well.
STYLING STATIONS, SHAMPOO CHAIRS AND SINKS - Each will be sanitized before and after client use.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - All stations are 6 feet apart. We will be controlling the amount of clients in the salon at all times. We will be following the guidelines set forward by the CDC and Gov. Inslee. To reduce overcrowding in the salon, we recommend you text upon arrival, and please note you may be asked to wait in your car or outside for a few minutes before entering salon.
TOOLS, BRUSHES AND CAPES - Will continue to be sanitized. Tools brushes etc with UV light and Barbicide. Capes and robes washed after each use.
CONTINUED CLEANING AND SANITIZATION - General salon cleaning and sanitization will continue throughout the entire day.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We understand these changes might cause some inconvenience, however, it is our first priority to keep our staff and clients safe. We thank you for your understanding and patience. If you have any questions, concerns, or special requests, please don't hesitate to call prior to your appointment.
